However, recent media attention such as bed bug articles in “USA Today” and articles in “Forbes Magazine” have made this concerning trend widely known to the public at large. In response to requests from both office managers and pest management firms alike, BedBug Central has developed a bed bug treatment protocol designed to specifically treat bed bugs in complex office settings. This protocol was developed under the leadership of research entomologist Jeffrey White.
One of the key considerations to account for when developing protocols for office buildings is how unpredictable bed bug behavior becomes in these settings. With workplaces lacking sleeping areas and other common aggregation spaces, protocols must be adapted to address the insect’s changed behavior.
By utilizing the treatment programs of several office and workplace clients, White has a developed a protocol that can be applied to a variety of office settings.
