Unprecedented demand from pest management firms seeking to develop a comprehensive bed bug management protocol or refine an existing protocol has brought all remaining BedBug University: Boot Camp classes to capacity for the 2010 calendar year. With this level of demand, BedBug Central is considering exciting enhancements to the program in 2011.
Under the current BBU program, pest management firms travel to our company headquarters located in Lawrenceville, NJ to attend the four-day seminar series. In 2011, university organizers are considering ways to bring the four-day classes to pest management firms without sacrificing the all important On-The-Job Observation in which application and protocol treatment methods are displayed.
This new program would eliminate the need for companies to send large portions of their staff out of state for training.
For those unfamiliar with BedBug University: Boot Camp (BBU), the program is a series of professional development seminars designed to help pest management firms create or enhance their bed bug treatment protocols and business practices. The seminars are developed and taught by nationally regarded entomologists, Richard Cooper and Jeffrey White, of BedBug Central in addition to leading industry experts in bed bug business management and sales.

The BedBug Central staff is currently developing the 2011 scheduling of BBU courses. Pest management firms and bedbugFREE members hoping to attend in 2011 may contact Rob Dijoseph at robert.dijoseph@bedbugcentral.com or 1-800-949-2667.
