Protect-A-Bed Encasements
Hotel Interactive.com posted a great article yesterday titled, ‘Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite: Avoid this messy PR problem and extend the life of your mattresses with Protect-A-Bed enclosures.”
This article discusses the use of encasements on all hotel mattresses and box springs as a simple solution to guarantee mattresses and box springs cannot be infested with bed bugs and dust mites.
“Protect-A-Bed is able to achieve these results with a unique series of encasements that keep mattresses and box springs from getting riddled with unwanted pests. And even if your hotel’s current bedding has a problem with bed bugs or dust mites, its patented Bug Lock 3-sided zipper system ensures nothing can penetrate the encasement. The Bug Lock seals the zipper from underneath. That means bugs cannot get in or out. “
Everything written in this article is also true for at-home use of encasements. We also sell and endorse these same encasements at www.bedbugcentral.com. Just thought I’d let you all know!

This is a fantastic product. I would advise to put one on all your bedding in the home as a precaution. Especially these days.
Please tell me how/where I can buy these “encasements.”
Thank you.

Great article, you give some good advise, which i am going to use. I wanted to share a site that has good memory foam mattress toppers prices.
Thanks again for this informative post.
I remember reading a blog today that showed bed bugs and those little critters on someone’s hand. (Yuck!) One gentleman went so far as to create an elaborate system of duck tape to keep them out beneath the bed. It’s best to note many manufacturers are starting to use anti-mite, anti-allergen coverings to help reduce and eliminate these little buggers.
Thank you very much for the great information-
Thanks
