Recently, PCT Magazine highlighted the essential “take-aways” from September’s Bed Bug University’s: North American Bed Bug Summit in Chicago.
According to the article, the Summit stressed that bed bug knowledge is growing and strategies are evolving for pest’s prevention and control. In total, PCT highlighted 13 different key elements that represented the highlights of the North American Summit.
The topics included: bed bugs and anxiety, the federal government’s involvement, bed bugs without beds, proper communication approaches to protect a client’s brand and reputation, early detection hits and misses, cheap and easy monitoring, detection devices and time, bed bugs on treated surfaces, issues with OTC products, maximize profits by teaching prevention, the pros and cons of bed bug treatment, inspect everywhere in high bed bug populations, and low-tech tools.
